I have always had a love for all things 2 wheels throughout my life, I guess that was imprinted and passed over from
my dad at an early age, although Motocross and Motorbikes were a big part of that, push bikes have always been
there too, from a youth spent riding trials and MTB I have always had a passion for cycling.
I spent my younger working
days as a professional wheel builder, later leading on to managing a retail store in the motorcycle industry. This left me
with a hunger to transfer my skills learned into something combining both my passion and hobbies into a gap in the local
market for a great independent bike shop in Tamworth the area I grew up in. When 2 Wheels Only became available
as an opportunity it was the obvious decision to take the leap into the unknown some 10 years ago now.
It has not been easy by any stretch of the imagination, faced with the adversities that naturally come with owning a
business and the added pressure that the cycle industry faces with the huge impact on independent stores that the
internet challenges us with. But we have managed to keep pushing our way through and shape ourselves as a
fundamental part of the local cycling community. I like to think that we are now established as a well renowned and
well respected independent bike shop of the local region.
We have over the years formed an excellent close knit team of staff who are knowledgable, skilled and passionate about what
they do, I am extremely proud of what this dream has become and its great to see that the sleepless nights and
unsociable hours have brought us to this point.
I really look forward to the future of 2 Wheels Only, we have a lot of great things coming your way in the coming months
and years and at this point I would like to take the opportunity to thank every customer and friend that we have gained
along the way, without you guys it really wouldn't be possible! Heres to an exciting future!
